Cheer Clinic

Enterprise Parks & Recreation Department is excited to partner with the Dauphin Jr. High School Cheer Team once again to host the 2023 EPRD Cheer Clinic! Participants will learn the basics of cheerleading including jumps, stances, cheers, and tips for public performance at a one day Cheer Clinic, and they will get to cheer for one game. *Please note that this is a ONE DAY CLINIC, not a cheerleading league. 

Registration for the 2023 Cheer Clinic has CLOSED. Participants can pick up shirts and pom poms at the Enterprise Civic Center located at 2401 Neil Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330. Current participants can see details about the clinic below.

 

2023 CLINIC INFORMATION

Date:  Saturday, September 30th, 2023
Time:  (Ages 3-5) 8:30 AM
            (Ages 6-10) 10:00 AM
Location:  Enterprise Civic Center Auditorium

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for attendance and armbands. Parents/guardians may drop off registrants and come back for pick up. Any parents/guardians that would like to stay, will be allowed to sit in the chairs up against the wall in the auditorium. Parents/guardians are required to sign their participating child(ren) in and out.

What to wear and bring:

  • T-shirt
  • Flexible shorts/skort (jeans are not allowed)
  • Hair tied up
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Poms (with registrants’ name)
  • Water (with registrants’ name)

2023 GAME INFORMATION

Date: Thursday, October 5th, 2023
Game: Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Enterprise High School

Please arrive no later than 6:15 PM for attendance and armbands. Participants who wear their EPRD Cheer Clinic t-shirt will be admitted to the game at no cost. Remaining family/friends will pay the general gate fee.  A parent or guardian must remain at the game until they are done cheering and keep close supervision of their child(ren). After the game, they can meet their child(ren) for pick up in the designated area. Do not leave the game until you have signed out your child(ren).

6:30 PM:
Registrants ages 3 – 5 will report to the blocked off  section of the bleachers to cheer from the stands. 
Registrants ages 6 – 10 will report to the endzone to cheer from the field.

At Halftime:
Registrants ages 3 – 5 will join the older group and DJHS cheerleaders to cheer on the field.
