EPRD youth football and volleyball registration starts next week

Registration starts Monday, June 10 for Enterprise Parks and Recreation youth flag football, tackle football and volleyball.

Parents/guardians must complete registration in person at the Enterprise Civic Center (2401 Neil Metcalf Road) or online through www.eprd.recdesk.com. Payment, a copy of the participant’s birth certificate and shirt size are required to complete registration. 

Flag football is open to ages 5-12 as of September 1, 2024. The registration fee is $45 and includes an NFL-inspired reversible performance jersey. Youth tackle football is open to ages 7-12 as of September 1, 2024. The registration fee is $55 and includes jersey as well as a helmet and pads. Teams will compete in the Wiregrass Youth Football Association, which includes games being played in Enterprise, Ozark, Troy, Luverne, Dothan, and Brundidge.

Football practices for both flag and tackle teams are expected to start the week of August 12 and are typically on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and some weekends leading up to the start of the season. Games will be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for flag football and Saturdays for tackle football.

Girls volleyball is open to those in going into grades 3 through 6 during registration. Registration is $45 and includes a jersey. Practice, which is expected to start August 12, is expected to be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and some weekends leading up to the season. Games will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Old Coppinville Gym or The Family Life Center.

Enterprise Parks and Recreation will hold a pre-draft evaluation for flag football, tackle football and volleyball players who are new to the league or moving up to a different age group. More information will be provided during registration.
