Alfred Peavy Park

Peavy Park is being redeveloped as part of a project with ESCC. Part of Peavy will be transformed into three multi-purpose sports fields for football, soccer and kickball primarily, but can be used for a variety of other outdoor sports. A concession stand, parking area, disc golf course, sand volleyball court and walking and biking trails are among the developments on the former college property.

Peavy Park was named after Alfred Peavy, a citizen of Enterprise for many years. Alfred Peavy taught in the Enterprise School System for 36 years and retired in 1991 as assistant principal of Enterprise High School. He had served for many years as a coach, first at Coppinville Junior High School (now known as the Boys and Girls Club), later at Enterprise Junior High School, and at EHS.
